Madeline's Newborn Portraits

Madeline was such a sweet baby girl. I have known her parents since high school so this session was even more fun that usual. Madeline's daddy is a professor by day but an amazing chef at home. He made a rockin' lunch while I was photographing her session and that was a first for me, being fed at a session lol!

Naturally I had to put her in a cooking setup since Aaron loves it so much. Here are some of her pictures. I love how they turned out!

USS Abraham Lincoln Homecoming

This family will forever hold a spot in my heart as my very first homecoming. I feel honored to have photographed this incredible moment for them. Walter, Jazmin and Walter Jr. are such a beautiful family and I am so happy they have been reunited again.

Walter and Jazmin were married just two days before they deployed, yes, Jazmin is in the Navy as well. Jazmin found out she was expecting on the ship and at five months pregnant she had to come back to the states. This woman amazes me. You have no idea how excited I was when I found out my very first homecoming would be photographing a father who had never met his son! Here are some of their pictures:

Carter and the Symonds Family

I have known Mike and Mandy for what seems like.....forever! I was thrilled when Amanda asked me to photograph Carter and her family. We didn't have a lot of room for my backdrop stand and it wasn't optimal lighting but I think we got some great shots in. Carter isn't quite sitting on his own yet so he kept his parents busy making sure he wasn't going to fall over and hurt himself. Carter is a little sweetheart with gorgeous eyes, and Hannah his big sister reminded me so much of Lexi. Little girls are so much fun. Hannah practiced all her model poses with me while her brother was drinking a bottle. :) I had a great time photographing the Symonds family and I hope I get to shoot them again in the future!
